Pick Notion Plus if…
Notion is your docs and wiki tool, you want unlimited uploads and version history, and a capped AI trial is enough.
This upgrade is really about AI. Plus is a paid workspace plan, but its AI is the same capped trial Free users get. Full Notion AI — the agent, meeting notes and enterprise search — has sat behind Business since May 2025, when Notion retired its AI add-on.
Stay on Plus ($10/mo per user) if you're paying for unlimited file uploads and 30-day version history and treat the AI trial as a bonus. Move to Business ($20/mo per user) if you want Notion AI itself, or need SAML SSO and private teamspaces.

Notion is your docs and wiki tool, you want unlimited uploads and version history, and a capped AI trial is enough.
you want an AI agent working across your pages, automatic meeting notes, or SSO for a company workspace.
Both plans bill per user, so the gap grows with every teammate. If only a couple of people actually want AI, compare the cost of moving every seat to Business against giving those few people a separate assistant — Notion no longer sells a cheaper AI add-on.
Plus is $10/mo and Business is $20/mo, both per user. Notion cut both prices in August 2026.
Only a capped trial — the same one on the Free plan, covering things like doc generation and autofill. The agent, meeting notes and enterprise search require Business.
No. The add-on was retired in May 2025, and full Notion AI is now limited to Business and Enterprise.
