Pick Cursor Pro if…
you code with Cursor most days but agents are a helper, not the whole workflow.
All three plans share the same core features — frontier models, unlimited tab completions, background agents. What you're buying is agent usage, and the tiers aren't priced evenly.
Start on Cursor Pro ($20/mo). If you regularly run out, Pro+ ($60/mo) triples your usage; if you run agents all day, Ultra ($200/mo) gives 20× and is the cheapest per unit of usage.

Monthly prices in US dollars before tax, from each vendor's official pricing (US list price; weekly-billed plans converted to a monthly figure). Updated October 7, 2026
you code with Cursor most days but agents are a helper, not the whole workflow.
you hit Pro's limits a few times a month and want headroom without a big jump in price.
you hand most of your work to agents and would otherwise blow through Pro+ every week.
At current prices, Pro+ costs three times Pro for three times the usage, so it's no discount — just convenience. Ultra costs ten times Pro for twenty times the usage, half the price per unit. If you'd need more than one Pro+ worth of usage, Ultra is the better buy.
Pro+ gives 3× Pro's usage credits; Ultra gives 20× Pro usage plus priority access to new features. Everything else is the same as Pro.
The free Hobby plan has limited agent requests and limited tab completions — fine for trying Cursor, not for daily work.
How we choose: prices come from each vendor's official pricing page and are re-checked every week. We take no affiliate fees, so rankings aren't for sale.
